-FROG -
Once upon a
time there was a rich peasant woman who had three sons. One day the three told
their mother that they wanted to get married. Their mother replied: "Do
what you like, but see that you choose a good wife, and to make sure of this,
take with you these three wool balls, and give them to be knitted. the best leg
will be my beloved son-in-law. "
Now the two
eldest sons have chosen their wives; So they took wool from their mother, and
took it away with them, to get it knitted as he said. The youngest child,
however, is confused what to do with his wool, because he does not know the
girl (never talked to him) to whom he can give it to be knitted. Then she
despaired and left the village, and sat by the pool, began to weep bitterly.
Suddenly there
was a voice beside him, and a frog jumped out of the water into the bank and
asked why he was crying. DIa helps to make socks like the one in his mother.
Then one day
her mother wanted to see the knitted socks from his wife. But the youngest is
confused. Then he sat by the pool.
Failure! And
the frog came out of the water beside him. "Take this," he said.
"This is the sock I have knitted for you, then he gave it to his mother,
and it turns out that the youngest socks are the best of both siblings.
Then he turned
to his sons and said: "This is not enough, my children, I have to have
another proof of what kind of wife you have chosen.Inside the house there are 3
dogs the mother has brought the three dogs, and in training by their future
wives.
So the boys
set out in their own way, each carrying a puppy with him. The youngest, not
knowing where to go, back to the pond, sit down once more at the bank, and
start crying.
The young man
went back to the pond, and cried, then the frog appeared to help him again with
the dog's melatig. He took her into the pool.
Several weeks
and months passed, until one day the mother said that she wanted to see how the
dogs were trained by her in-laws. For a moment he was at his side, carrying his
most beautiful little dog, which he dressed in his arms. It sits upright and
pleads with its claws, and undergoes the prettiest trick, and almost like a way
of understanding and doing what is commanded.
In high
spirits the young man took him to his mother. As soon as he saw it, he
exclaimed: "This is the most beautiful little dog I've ever seen! You're
lucky, my son You've won a pearl of a wife!" Then, turning to the other,
he said: "Here are three shirts. to the wife of your choice.Whoever is the
best is my favorite father-in-law. "
So the youths
once more set out; and again, the work of the toad is the best and the tidy.
This time the mother said, "Now that I'm satisfied with the test I'm
giving, I want you to go and pick up your daughter, and I'll prepare for the
wedding."
Failure! And
once again the loyal toad was beside him. "What bothers you so much?"
He asked him, then the young man told him everything. "Will you take me
for a wife?" He asked. "What should I do with you as a wife?" He
replied, wondering at the strange proposal.
"Again,
will you have me or not?" He said. "I will not have you nor will I
reject you," he said. By this time the frog had vanished, and the next
time the young man saw a beautiful little wagon, pulled by two small ponies,
stood on the street. The frog is holding the train door for entry.
"Come
with me," he said. So he got up and followed him into the wagon. As they
drove along the way they met with three magicians; the first one is blind, the
second is bent, and the third has a big thorn in his throat.
When the three
witches saw the wagon, with the frog sitting intently between the pillows, they
laughed so much that the blind eyelid opened, and he looked back at his vision;
the humpback rolls on the ground in joy until his back becomes straight; and in
the roar of the thorns fell from the throat of the third witch.
Their first
thought was to reward the frog, the first Witch waved his wand over the frog,
turning it into the most beautiful girl he had ever seen. The second magician
swung the wand into a small train and pony, and they turned into a beautiful
big train with a horse prancing, and a coachman in a chair. Pthe third enyihir
gave the girl a magic bag, full of money.
After doing
this, the magicians disappeared, and the young man with his lovely wife went to
his mother's house. The mother is very happy to see the luck of his youngest
son. Beautiful house built for them. She is her favorite daughter-in-law.
Everything goes well with them, and they live happily ever after.
